Breve resumen: Tratamiento de los quistes pilonidales

Un quiste pilonidal, también conocido como quiste sacro, es un saco lleno de líquido que se forma debajo de la piel en la parte baja de la espalda, cerca del pliegue de las nalgas. Alguno de ellos no se pueden ver, mientras que hay otros que se pueden ver como un pequeño hoyuelo o un bultito en la piel.

A veces, un quiste pilonidal puede infectarse. Una forma en que los médicos pueden tratar un quiste infectado es con el procedimiento Gips.
