During Your Visit
Visiting a children's hospital isn't like going to an adult hospital. At Akron Children's, we have child life specialists who help you and your child cope before, during and after a medical procedure or hospital stay. We also have plenty of in-room activities for your child.
You also never know who may stop by for a visit. Whether it's a miniature Shetland pony or a golden retriever with our Doggie Brigade, our family-centered care mission is portrayed in everything we do, including making your child's hospital visit easier.
