Breve resumen: Comunicación interauricular

Una comunicación interauricular, a veces llamada "orificio en el corazón", es un defecto cardíaco con el que nacen algunos bebés. En este defecto hay una abertura anormal en el tabique divisor que separa las dos cavidades receptoras superiores del corazón (aurículas).

La mayoría de los casos de comunicación interventricular se diagnostican y se tratan con éxito y con pocas complicaciones o ninguna en absoluto.
