Because we are the only pediatric rehabilitative service in the region that treats every stage of the recovery process, we can provide all the services children need, including inpatient care in a dedicated rehabilitation unit.
Our rehab facilities feature large, multi-purpose rooms to accommodate patients, staff and equipment, as well as child-friendly equipment that aids in strengthening, stretching, promoting balance and coordination, and stimulating the senses.
The Akron campus also has a mobility house that teaches children and teens how to perform daily activities in a real-life setting and a hydrotherapy pool.
