The Healthy Active Living program provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children and teens who are overweight. Our multidisciplinary team includes a physician, psychologist, certified nurse practitioner, dietitian and exercise physiologist.
Our initial assessment identifies barriers to treatment and determines motivation to make lifestyle changes to develop an individualized treatment plan. Follow-up visits may include some or all of the following team members: medical provider, registered dietitian, exercise physiologist, pediatric psychologist and social worker.
We offer a bariatric surgery program for severely overweight adolescents.
