Can vegans get enough protein?

The answer is yes and Abbey Granger, MS, RD/LD, a dietitian at Akron Children's shares this protein-loaded and delicious recipe to help out. Recipe in this video: Vegan Protein Balls Ingredients - (makes ~20 bites) 2 cups rolled oats ½ cup peanut butter 1 ripe banana, mashed 1 tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds 1 scoop protein powder OR 1 tbsp peanut butter powder (i.e. PB fit) (optional) 2 tbsp honey or syrup (optional) Directions: Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl and mix well. Refrigerate mixture for 1 hour, then separate into 24 (Tbsp sized) balls. Keep refrigerated.
