Experimento: No hay sabor sin saliva

Experimento: ¡Atrapa la moneda

Por qué necesitas la saliva para degustar los alimentos. Para que los alimentos tengan sabor, es necesario que primero las sustancias químicas que contienen se disuelvan en la saliva. Una vez disueltas, estas sustancias químicas pueden ser detectadas por los receptores de las papilas gustativas.

Qué Necesitas

  • Uno o dos amigos
  • Toallas de papel
  • Alimentos para saborear (galletas dulces o saladas, pretzels o cualquier otro tipo de comida seca)
  • Agua potable para todos

Qué Debes Hacer

  1. Utiliza una toalla de papel limpia para secar tu lengua.
  2. Prueba cada alimento, uno por uno. ¿Qué sabores tienen?
  3. Bebe un poco de agua.
  4. Vuelve a degustar cada alimento ¡dejando que la saliva haga magia!
