Includes specialty programs: Bariatric Surgery Program

Healthy Active Living

When it comes to weight management, every child’s needs are different.  We use a personalized approach to support your child for success in both losing weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

We have one focus: kids.

The Healthy Active Living program provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children and teens who are overweight. Our multidisciplinary team includes a physician, psychologist, certified nurse practitioner, dietitian and exercise physiologist.

What to expect.

We will provide an initial assessment to identify barriers to treatment, determine motivation to make lifestyle changes and develop an individualized treatment plan. Follow-up visits may include some or all of the following team members: medical provider, registered dietitian, exercise physiologist, pediatric psychologist and social worker.

We offer a bariatric surgery program for severely overweight adolescents.

If you are interested in our services, please speak to your child’s physician or call the Healthy Active Living program at 330-543-5673.
