Dr. Gartenberg is a pediatric interventional cardiologist at Akron Children's Heart Center. He joined Akron Children's in 2023. After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he completed a residency in pediatrics followed by a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Gartenberg completed additional advanced training in pediatric interventional cardiology and has a special interest in minimally invasive treatments in the cardiac catheterization laboratory for both children and adults with congenital heart disease. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics with a sub-board in pediatric cardiology and is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on topics relating to both general and interventional cardiology and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
