Dr. Khan is a pediatric cardiologist and director of advanced cardiac imaging at Akron Children’s Heart Center. He’s been practicing since 2004 and with Akron Children’s since 2008. After graduating from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, he completed his pediatric residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C. and a pediatric fellowship at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in New York and a pediatric cardiology fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. Dr. Khan has a special interest in newborn and adolescent congenital heart defects and acquired heart diseases, as well as fetal echocardiography, transesophageal and 3D echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He’s a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and American Academy of Pediatrics. He’s authored numerous research and publication projects and is an associate professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
