Dr. Wong is a pediatric radiologist at Akron Children’s Hospital. He also works with patients in the hospital’s Pediatric Thyroid Program to support the unique medical needs of children and adolescents with thyroid disease. He’s been practicing since 1999 and with Akron Children’s since 2009. Dr. Wong earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his radiology residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles. He went on to complete a pediatric radiology fellowship at Mattel Children's Hospital in Los Angeles and a Neuroradiology fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis. Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of added qualification in pediatric radiology and in neuroradiology. He’s a member of several professional associations including the Society of Pediatric Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology and is an assistant professor of radiology at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
