We are experts in selecting the best imaging techniques to diagnose medical and surgical problems in infants, children and teens. We were the first hospital in Ohio — and the second children's hospital in the U.S. — to receive a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence® designation for our commitment to low-dose radiation.
We offer a full range of imaging tests to help diagnose health conditions and injuries affecting kids — everything from fractures and heart issues to head injuries and cancer. We make sure that testing is performed properly and safely, with the lowest dose of radiation necessary.
We also tailor our medical equipment and diagnostic approach to fit the unique physical and emotional needs of children. Our team includes pediatric radiologists and nurses who are skilled in procedural sedation, as well as radiology techs and child life specialists who help alleviate anxiety during procedures.
Our radiology team also includes pediatric neuroradiologists who are specially trained in diagnosing disorders affecting the brain, spine, head and neck − ranging from tumors and infection to seizures and headaches.
