Meet Jennifer Stefanich, DNP, APRN-CNP
Jennifer is a pediatric nurse practitioner in Akron Children’s Genetic Center. Her clinical practice focuses on the evaluation and care of children with known or suspected genetic conditions, newborn screening follow-up and care coordination for children and families with complex genetic diagnoses. She has practiced as a pediatric nurse practitioner since 2020 and has a special interest in improving access, coordination and quality of care for children with genetic and neurodevelopmental conditions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Seattle University and her master’s degree in nursing from Kent State University. She subsequently earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Ohio University. She previously served in the United States Air Force Reserve.
