Daniel Smith, MD

Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician

Dr. Smith has been in practice since 2018. He is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician at Akron Children’s Hospital. After receiving his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University, he completed both his pediatric residency and fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Akron Children’s. Dr. Smith has a special interest in autism, ADHD, behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, learning/academic challenges and spina bifida-related conditions. He is board certified is general pediatrics and developmental-behavioral pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society for Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics. He’s also a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
