Meet Crystal Thomas-Rozea, MD

Dr. Thomas-Rozea, a pediatric psychiatrist, joined the staff of Akron Children’s in December 2024. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) in 2004 and completed her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine / University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s in Cleveland. During this time, Dr. Thomas-Rozea served as Chief Administrative Fellow.  She completed an additional fellowship in Integrated Community Psychiatry and Primary Care at NEOMED.  She has been practicing psychiatry since 2009 and has experience in the outpatient, inpatient and partial hospitalization setting.   She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in psychiatry and in child and adolescent psychiatry.  Dr. Thomas-Rozea has a special interest in depression, anxiety,  obsessive-compulsive disorders, and integrated care.
