Dr. Liebig is the director of Sports Medicine at the Beeghly campus and has been practicing since 2014. He received his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Richmond, VA and a fellowship in pediatric primary care sports medicine at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Liebig specializes in pediatric sports-related injuries, chronic knee and shoulder pain and concussions. He is board certified in pediatrics with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine, and a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Liebig has been a frequent featured expert in news stories and has authored textbook chapters in several books. He also currently serves as a clinical associate professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
