Meet Chelsea Weyand, PsyD, ABPP
Dr. Chelsea Weyand has been in practice since 2012. She joined Akron Children’s as a pediatric psychologist and serves as the Vice Chair for Population Behavioral Health. After receiving her doctoral degree from Indiana State University, she completed her residency at John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents Rockville, MD and fellowship at Akron Children’s. She has a special interest in Behavioral Health Integration into Primary Care and is currently leading the integration of behavioral health into all of Akron Children’s primary care locations. Clinical interests include assisting with coping with chronic medical conditions such as epilepsy and functional neurological symptom disorder. Dr. Weyand is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychology.
