He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa. and completed his residency in pediatrics at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa. He went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Linakis is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. He’s a member of American Academy of Pediatrics and the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network steering committee.
