Dr. Ben-Zion is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics and associate pediatric program director of ambulatory medicine at Akron Children’s Hospital. She is also the research director of the residency program, and has been named Chair, Research and Scholarship Learning Community and Chair, Mid-America Region of the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD). She’s been practicing since 2004 and with Akron Children’s since 2005. She earned her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Ill. and completed a pediatric residency at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford in Palo Alto, Ca. Dr. Ben-Zion is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She’s contributed to numerous educational workshops, presentations and publications, and is a clinical associate professor of pediatrics and member of the master teacher's guild at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
