Paul Olivier is the Vice President of Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley. In this role, he oversees all aspects of Akron Children’s operations in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, which includes pediatric and specialty care and the Beeghly campus in Boardman.

Olivier joined Akron Children’s Hospital in 2021 with more than 25 years of experience in health care management and leadership. He previously served in a variety of roles with Bon Secours Mercy Health, including chief network integration officer, senior vice president of physician enterprises and business development, chief network integration officer and chief quality officer. He has also held positions at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh; Humility of Mary Health Partners in Youngstown; and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

A fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2004, Olivier earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, and his master’s in health services administration from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Olivier resides in Boardman with his wife, Laura and their two daughters.
