Dr. Uli is a pediatric endocrinologist and medical director of the Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology at Akron Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Government Medical College, University of Mysore, Karnataka State, in India and completed a pediatrics residency at St. Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, N.Y. He went on to complete a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at New York University Medical Center - Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Uli has a special interest in Prader-Willi syndrome, thyroid disorders and obesity in youth. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics with a sub-specialty certification in endocrinology. He is a member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society and serves as medical director of Camp Ho Mita Koda, the oldest camp in northeastern Ohio for children with diabetes. Dr. Uli has contributed to dozens of articles, abstracts and academic presentations and is as an associate professor of pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University.
