Marilyn Nibling, DNP, APRN-NNP

Marilyn is a neonatal nurse practitioner at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing as a provider since 1999 and with Akron Children’s since 2008. She earned her master’s degree and doctor of nursing practice from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. She went on to complete an academic fellowship at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. Marilyn has a special interest in neonatal nursing, health policy, safe sleep and care for neonatal patients. She is certified by the National Certification Corporation and the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center. Marilyn is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. She also serves as an assistant professor at Kent State University.
