Dr. Ramundo is a pediatric emergency medicine physician and director of the pediatric residency program at Akron Children’s Hospital. She’s also the hospital’s associate chair of pediatrics for academic affairs. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Akron Children’s and a fellowship in academic medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Ramundo is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and in pediatric emergency medicine. She’s also a certified by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management as a certified physician executive. Dr. Ramundo is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Academic Pediatrics Association and the American College of Physician Executives. Additionally, she’s a professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
