Lisa Aurilio, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC is the Chief Operating Officer at Akron Children’s Hospital.  She oversees operations of the Akron Children’s Health System comprised of two hospitals, four regional health centers, 80 subspecialty practice locations, a primary care network of 28 offices, a school nursing program covering 30 local school districts and a home care agency.  She is responsible for all medical and surgical ambulatory practices, Patient Services, Professional and Support Services, Accreditation and the health system’s lean six sigma’s Center for Operations Excellence. Prior to this role, Lisa served as the Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer. Lisa earned her Bachelor degree and Master of Science from the Kent State College of Nursing and her Master of Business Administration in the Kent State University’s Executive HealthCare MBA program.  Lisa was awarded the 2016 Diversity in Nursing Award from Modern Healthcare.

Lisa is active in the community serving as Past-President for the Ohio Organization of Nurse Executives, President of the Board for Children’s Home Care Group and as a member of the Stark State Akron Campus President’s Advisory Board, Kent State University’s National Alumni Board and Boys and Girls Club of Western Reserve Board.
