Justin Huntington, MD

Pediatric General Surgeon

Dr. Huntington is a pediatric surgeon at Akron Children’s Hospital, where he’s been practicing since 2019. After graduating from The Ohio State University Medical School, he went on to complete his residency in surgery at Ohio State and a pediatric surgery fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Dr. Huntington has a special interest in pediatric surgical oncology, pediatric colorectal surgery, thyroid surgery, thoracic surgery, Hirschsprung’s disease, anorectal malformations, congenital anomalies and minimally invasive surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery. He’s an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Children’s Oncology Group, the International Society of Paediatric Oncology, among many other professional organizations. Additionally, he’s authored numerous presentations, publications and book chapters, and is an assistant professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
