Dr. Li is an allergist/immunologist at Akron Children’s Hospital. He’s been practicing since 2011 and with Akron Children’s since 2014. He earned his doctorate in immunology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. and earned his medical degree from Shanghai Medical University in China. He went on to complete a pediatric residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, N.J. and an allergy and immunology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. Li has a special interest in allergy, asthma and immunodeficiency disorders. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He’s a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the Clinical Immunology Society. Dr. Li has contributed to a number of publications and abstracts on topics related to his specialty and is also a clinical assistant professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
