Ira Taub, MD, FAAP

Dr. Taub is a pediatric cardiologist at Akron Children’s Hospital Heart Center. He’s been practicing since 2007 and with Akron Children’s since 2013. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and The Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY, he completed a residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Taub has a special interest in pediatric cardiology, pediatrics and heart disease in children. He’s board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric cardiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology. Additionally, he’s an assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University, part of the board review lecture series for pediatric residents at Akron Children’s and is a training instructor for the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.
