Dr. Strawbridge is a pediatric pulmonologist at Akron Children’s, where she’s been working since 2010. She’s also the site director for the Akron Children’s Mahoning Valley and associate center director for the Lewis H. Walker, MD, Cystic Fibrosis Center. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed a pediatric residency at Tod Children’s Hospital in Youngstown. She went on to complete a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Strawbridge has a special interest in cystic fibrosis, asthma, trach/ventilator dependent patients, BPD, chronic lung diseases and lung transplantation. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonary. She’s a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians and the American Medical Association. She has contributed to several publications and dozens of teaching lectures and serves as a career development and specialty advisor and clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
