Dr. Raizman is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics and at the hospital’s Children at Risk Evaluation Center. She’s been practicing since 2001 and with Akron Children’s since 2016. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa. and completed a residency in forensic pediatrics at Akron Children’s. She went on to complete a fellowship in child maltreatment and family violence at Chadwick Center for Children and Families, Rady Children’s Hospital, in San Diego, Calif. Dr. Raizman has a special interest in mental health issues in children and adolescents, trauma-informed care, well care for infants through young adulthood, headaches, constipation and parent-child or parent-teen interactions. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics. She’s a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Ray E. Helfer Society. Dr. Raizman is also a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
