Dr. Mason is an adolescent medicine specialist at Akron Children’s Hospital, where she’s been practicing since 2019. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University. She completed a pediatric residency at Akron Children’s Hospital and an adolescent medicine fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mason has a special interest in primary and preventative care, eating disorders, menstrual disorders and contraception, including long-acting reversible contraception. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in general pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine.
