Dr. Prifti is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Akron Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine in Tirana, Albania. He completed two residencies, one in internal medicine at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and the other in anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Anesthesiology Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. He went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Prifti is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pediatric Anesthesiology. He’s a member of American Society of Anesthesiologists, Society of Pediatric Anesthesia, Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association and the Society of Ambulatory Anesthesia. Additionally, Dr. Prifti is fluent in English, Albanian, Italian and French.
