Carole Ettinger serves as Vice President, Information Services Division, at Akron Childrens. In this role Carole leads the implementation and support for Enterprise Systems such as Service Now, Microsoft and Infor along with Ancillary and Administrative Software Applications, Custom Software Development, System Integration, Vendor Management, Biomedical Engineering. She is also closely involved in collaborative leadership with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Operational areas of the organization. Carole joined Akron Children’s in 2011 after a career at Roadway Express/Yellow Roadway encompassing roles in business, project and IT management, ultimately leading staff across 4 states. She holds credentials as a CHCIO (Certified Healthcare CIO), CDHE (Certified Digital Health Executive), CPHIMSS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems) and PMP (Project Management Professional). Carole received her B.S. in Integrated Life Sciences from Kent State University and M.A. in Ministry from Ursuline College. She serves on the Board of Directors for Open M Ministry in Akron Ohio and the Customer Advisory Board for IdeaStream Public Media.
