Abdelaziz Saleh, MD, PhD, FACOG

Dr. Saleh is a maternal-fetal specialist at Akron Children’s Maternal Fetal Medicine Center. He’s been practicing since 1977 and with Akron Children’s since 2019. He went to medical school at Ain Schams University in Cairo, Egypt and earned his doctoral degree in physiology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. He completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Mich. and a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Hutzel Hospital. Dr. Saleh is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He’s contributed to numerous professional publications and presentations, as well as received several awards for his work in academia, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists National Faculty Award. Additionally, he’s a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Ohio University and Northeast Ohio Medical University.
