Akron Campus
Valet Parking
Free valet parking is available for Emergency Room patients Monday at 9 a.m. through Saturday at 7 p.m., and 9 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday. If you are leaving the Emergency Department when valet services are not operating, courtesy escorts are available by calling 330-543-8181 or checking with the officer stationed at the metal detector.
Valet parking is also available at the Considine Professional Building entrance. The fee is $4.
Parking Decks
Our Akron campus has 3 parking decks:
All parking decks are open 24 hours. Families are encouraged to park in the Exchange Deck for inpatient visits and the Bowery Deck for outpatient visits in Considine Professional Building. If arriving after 9 p.m., please park in the Exchange Deck so you will have direct entry to the hospital.
The exit gates in all parking decks are open every day 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Handicapped-accessible parking is available on all levels of the parking decks.
Immediate family members receive free parking, regardless of length of visit, but are encouraged to request validation to avoid any unexpected charges. Validation is available at the following information desks:
- Considine Professional Building 2nd and 3rd floor
- Main hospital building 2nd floor revolving door entrance
- Main hospital building 3rd floor atrium
- Main hospital building 3rd floor near Kids’ Café entrance
- Kay Jewelers Pavilion 2nd and 3rd floor
Other visitors are charged a maximum of $4 for parking, after a four-hour grace period. All exit gates are automated, and cash or credit cards are accepted.

Beeghly Campus (Boardman)
Parking is available in surface lots and is free for families and visitors. Parking for individuals with disabilities is available near all visitor entrances. Please see the following files for parking and directions.
Other locations
Parking is free and available in surface lots at all other locations owned and operated by Akron Children’s. Parking fees may be required at our partner facilities.
