Kelly's Story
I adopted my son when he was four weighing 31 lbs. he was failure to thrive and developmental delayed by 2 1/2 years. We spoke only one word sentences. He has a cardiac defect that is under control. We suffer from complex ADHD with impulse control issues. We have had two surgery in the last two years to correct his legs from neglect as a child. He is thriving now. He goes to main stream school, with me as his advocate for every step fighting for what he needs. I’m a single mom. And choose to do this on my own it is challenging but rewarding at the same time. We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
