Darcy's Story
Hello! I previously worked in the medical field and turned caregiver/advocate overnight when my daughter woke up one morning for school and was crawling to the bathroom because she couldn’t stand up.
I have been advocating for her and navigating the healthcare system ever since. It has been a long 10 year journey which continues to drive me to help others not endure unnecessary stress and suffering.
My heart and passion has always been to help others and being a Parent Mentor at Akron Children’s Hospital gives me the opportunity to do just that.
