Sibshop

Siblings have a special relationship that lasts a lifetime. But it can be hard for kids with a sibling who has health problems or special needs. Sibshops can help.

Sibshops are lively workshop celebrations that acknowledge being the sibling of a person with support needs is, for some, a good thing, others a not-so-good thing, and for many somewhere in between.

Sibshops seek to provide siblings with opportunities for peer support, incorporating discussion activities with games, information, and support guests. Sibshops acknowledge that most siblings of people with support needs, like their parents, are doing well, despite the challenges of an illness or disability.
