Akron Children’s department of Public Safety works throughout our hospitals to ensure we provide the safest environment for our patients, visitors, volunteers and staff.

To maintain a safe and secure environment, department of public safety officers actively patrol our campuses on foot, in traditional police cruisers, and through video surveillance. • Safety escorts to/from building to parking location
  • Disabled vehicles

  • Private (hospital) property accident reports
  • Maintaining a lost and found
