Patient and Family Relations

We believe in family-centered care and open communication between hospital staff and parents. Despite our best efforts, however, you may want to share concerns or complaints about your child’s care. We encourage you to address these concerns directly with the clinical staff or director of your patient unit or center.

You may also request to speak to a patient advocate about your concerns. We take your concerns seriously, and will address them in a timely and appropriate fashion.

You may also file a complaint with the Ohio Department of Health, 246 N. High St., Columbus, OH, 43215, or call 1-800-342-0553.

All documented complaints will be analyzed and investigated and corrective action will take place when appropriate. Each complaint will receive follow-up by a telephone call and/or written communications.

Your feedback will not compromise future access to care for you or your child.
