Heart to Art Community Art Project
Share Your Inspiration for a Commemorative Mural
The Heart Center at Akron Children’s is celebrating 25 years of cardiac surgery with Heart to Art, a collaborative community art project with Art x Love, that will culminate in a welcoming commemorative mural honoring this milestone.
We invite patients, families, caregivers, employees, and community members to share their own artwork. Submissions can be created using the Heart to Art activity sheet or by sending original artwork and images to contact@artxlove.com.
Selected artwork will be incorporated into the final mural, which will be permanently displayed in the Heart Center at Akron Children’s. This is not a talent contest. Through a creative process, Art x Love will transform and integrate submissions into a collective work of art that reflects the many stories, experiences and connections that have shaped 25 years of cardiac care.
How to Participate
- Download and print the Heart to Art activity sheet.
- Complete the release form.
- Create your artwork.
- Email your completed artwork to contact@artxlove.com.
All submissions received by January 1, 2027, will be considered for inclusion in the commemorative mural.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.
