Flu Shot Availability

Featured Image

Why are yearly flu shots important? They reduce the risk of flu complications that could lead to hospitalization, especially if your child is under age 5 or has a chronic condition like asthma. Flu shots reduce the risk of illness – so your child can stay in school, and you don't have to miss work – and lessen the severity if your child does get sick. Protect your family by getting everyone 6 months and older vaccinated. Your insurance will be billed for flu vaccines.

The Outpatient Pharmacy now offers walk-in flu shots for patients ages 7 and up. Vaccines will be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Flu activity continues in our area, so it’s not too late to protect your child with a flu shot. Schedule an appointment via MyChart or by calling 330-543-2778 – or ask for a flu shot at your child’s next office visit.

These specialty departments will soon be offering flu shots, so ask your provider at your next appointment:

  • Adolescent Medicine
  • Allergy
  • Emergency Room
  • Endocrinology
  • General Surgery
  • Gastroenterology
  • Hematology/Oncology
  • Home Care
  • Infectious Disease

  • Outpatient Pharmacy - walk-in vaccines for patients ages 7 and older Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Pre-Surgical Home

Flu shots will soon be available if your child comes to Urgent Care for another reason, and it is medically appropriate to get vaccinated.

The School Health flu shot clinics have concluded.
