Akron Pride Festival Road closure and parking details

The Akron Pride Festival, Saturday, August 26, will impact travel to the Akron campus.

There will be several road closures and parking changes that may impact your commute.

Akron Pride Festival and parking lot closures:

  • The Bowery Corridor Lot will be closed Thursday, August 24 at 11 p.m. through Monday, August 28 at 5 a.m. Alternative parking is available in the Buchtel Parking Deck.
  • West Bowery Street will be closed between Center and Quaker streets beginning Friday, August 25 at 5 a.m. through Monday, August 28 at 5 a.m.

Public Safety will continue to work closely with the City of Akron to minimize the impact on our campus.
