Akron Children’s names Deepesh Randeri vice president of information security

Akron Children’s has named Deepesh Randeri to the position of vice president of information security.

In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing Akron Children’s information security program to protect enterprise communications, systems and assets from internal and external threats.

Prior to coming to Akron Children’s, Randeri served as senior director of cybersecurity and compliance for Stonerise Healthcare in Charleston, West Virginia. He has also worked for insurance companies in Charleston and Columbus, Ohio, and for the State of West Virginia in various information technology and information security roles.

Randeri earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science and applied math from Alderson-Broaddus College and his master’s degree in cybersecurity from the University of Charleston. Additionally, he has numerous industry-specific certifications.
