Akron Children’s has named Kim Moses Chief Legal Officer.
In this role, she oversees the legal affairs, risk management, compliance and contract management at Akron Children’s.
Moses has more than 25 years of legal experience. Prior to coming to Akron Children’s, she served as senior vice president and general counsel at Brentwood Bank in Pittsburgh. She also held leadership positions at Highmark Health, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC in Pittsburgh, where she provided legal services for UPMC Children’s, Children’s Community Pediatrics, and the health system’s pediatric and adult behavioral health services. Additionally, Moses has been an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law teaching health care compliance.

Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance at Robert Morris University, a Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law, and she is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Moses is an alumnus of The Advanced Leadership Institute and is a member of Chief, an organization of senior executive women across the country. Moses and her family are in the process of relocating to the Akron area.
