Akron Children’s named to Forbes America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025 List

Akron Children’s has been named to the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025. This prestigious award is presented in collaboration with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best-In-State Employers 2025 through an independent survey from a sample of more than 160,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 500 people within the U.S.

More than 2 million employer evaluations were considered. The final score is based on two types of employee evaluations:

·         Personal (those given by employees themselves).

·         Public (those given by friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry).  

“Akron Children’s is honored to be included on Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Employers for 2025,” said Rhonda Larimore, chief human resources officer for Akron Children’s. “This award, voted on by current and former employees, is a testament to our culture as an innovative, inclusive workplace that supports staff in their professional and personal lives.”
