Akron Children’s adds a pediatric primary care practice in Montrose
05-12-2026 (Akron, Ohio)
Akron Children’s is adding a full-service pediatric primary care office at 4118 Medina Road, within the existing location of its popular Montrose Urgent Care and Walk-in Orthopedic and Sports Injury Clinic. The new services will begin this summer.
Four established and board-certified pediatricians from the community will be joining Akron Children’s. The new pediatricians coming to Akron Children’s Pediatrics, Montrose, are Douglas Fall, M.D.; Martha Myers, M.D.; Laurel Roach-Armao, M.D., and Stacey Memberg, M.D., Ph.D.
“This practice will fill a gap in care along the Medina Road corridor, and this location has been especially well received as an Urgent Care Center and Walk-in Orthopedic and Sports Injury Clinic,” said Brian Dinger, vice president of primary care and regional services. “This investment will add 8,000 square feet of dedicated pediatric primary care space in Montrose, which is convenient to families in Copley, Bath, Medina, Norton and several other neighboring communities, easily accessible via I-77.”
The primary care office will share an entrance with the existing services but will have its own dedicated waiting room and 17 exam rooms.
Other features of the practice include:
· Same-day sick appointments.
· Comprehensive well-child visits, including immunizations and sports physicals.
· Coordinated care if your child needs to see an Akron Children’s specialist.
· Behavioral health services.
· Lactation services.
· Schedule appointments 24/7, message your provider and request prescription renewals via MyChart.
· Free in-person or virtual interviews, so expectant parents can get to know their baby’s primary care provider.
· A 24-hour nurse line should you need an answer about your child’s health when the office is closed.
