Akron Children’s Pediatrics, Warren Downtown moves to new location

Akron Children’s Pediatrics, Warren Downtown is relocating 1.2 miles to the new wellness center at Warren G. Harding High School in Warren.  

The new name of the practice will be Akron Children’s Pediatrics at Warren G. Harding High School. Located at 860 Elm Road NW, the new office will open Tuesday, June 3 and provide comprehensive primary care for babies, kids and teens.    

“Moving our Warren Downtown office to the Warren G. Harding campus, along with the same trusted care of providers meets families where they are, which is at the school and wellness center,” said Brian Dinger, vice president of the Akron Children’s primary care network. “Our patients and families will enjoy the benefits of our new pediatric office combined with the convenience of on-campus care which makes it easier than ever for our children and families to get the care they need.” 

The new primary care office will be the second on-campus collaboration between Akron Children’s and Warren City Schools. Since 2016, Akron Children’s has offered school-based health centers in all Warren City Schools, which provides medical care at the schools. The school-based health centers address ongoing health care needs and assist students with chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes to manage their illnesses more effectively.  

As part of the care provided, Akron Children’s School-Based Health Center and Akron Children’s Pediatrics teams can coordinate care for Warren students and make referrals to an Akron Children’s specialist if needed.
