Akron Children's > Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer services for kids with POTS?

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) affects a part of the body called the autonomic nervous system. It controls things you don’t have to think about – like your heartbeat and blood pressure.

Our POTS Clinic multi-disciplinary team includes experts from areas including the brain (neurology) and heart (cardiology). The team will work with you to provide diagnosis, treatment and long-term care for children and adolescents diagnosed with POTS.
