Akron Children’s Hospital is the destination of choice for treating broken bones. We recognize that children are not just "little adults," and the treatment of broken bones is vastly different from the way adults are treated. We understand pediatric bones and their amazing capacity for healing, and have the knowledge and experience to provide expert fracture care.

If you have a child with a confirmed break (an X-ray is the only way to know for sure!), we will evaluate your child’s break, treat it in a child-friendly manner, and offer waterproof casts.
If your child’s break is confirmed by an X-ray, you may schedule an appointment with our Open Scheduling tool on the left side of the screen. If you can’t get an appointment the same day or next day through the Open Scheduling tool, please call 330-543-2778 to speak with a scheduler.
