After 18 surgeries, local girl gets to be a doctor for a day

Tsulee Chen, MD, the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Akron Children's, shares the story of nine-year-old Madelyn Trachsel, who recently joined her in the operating room not as a patient but as a "doctor in training." The "doctor for a day" experience was made possible with the help of the hospital's Neuro team and Workshop of Wishes, a local non-profit helping kids like Madelyn's dreams come true.
